How to use SIP in Business
For example, you are a small business that wants to present a London and Manchester office telephone number. You subscribe to 2 x SIP trunks, one for London 0207 xxx xxx and one for Manchester 0161 xxx xxx. All with one IP Phone! Your office could be based in Scotland, the IP phone and SIP trunk provider does not care!
If you call, or receive calls, from other countries on a regular basis then you should definately consider using a service Provider from that country as well. This means you could have a New York telephone number for your IP phone, thus anyone calling you from the US can call you on your New York telephone number.
Not only are you able to access the great rates that these Providers offer but you also have the advantage of being able to have a global presence and you friends, family and clients in those countries, who are not using VoIP, can call you for the cost of a local call.
